Compassionate Counseling, Wherever You Are
All services are offered via a secure telehealth platform, allowing you to receive thoughtful, personalized support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Whether you’re navigating difficult emotions, relationship challenges, or simply seeking guidance through life’s transitions, I’m here to walk alongside you as you face your giants—one step at a time.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling offers a supportive, one-on-one space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with care and curiosity. Together, we’ll navigate life’s challenges, deepen self-understanding, and identify areas where you’d like to grow or create change. This process is rooted in your goals—and designed to help you move forward with clarity, resilience, and lasting impact.
In individual counseling, I draw from evidence-based modalities tailored to your needs and goals. These may include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. By learning to think more realistically, clients often experience relief and gain tools to navigate challenges more effectively.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT encourages clients to accept what’s outside their control and commit to actions aligned with their values. It supports psychological flexibility, helping individuals live more meaningfully—even in the presence of difficult thoughts or emotions.
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
ERP is a highly effective form of CBT, especially for anxiety and OCD. It involves gradually facing feared thoughts or situations while resisting the urge to engage in compulsive behaviors. Over time, this process reduces anxiety and builds confidence in managing distress.
Christian counseling integrates evidence-based therapy with a faith-informed perspective for those who desire it. It offers space to explore emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns through both clinical insight and biblical wisdom.
This approach can be especially meaningful for clients who want to:
- Strengthen their faith as part of the healing process
- Explore how their beliefs shape their identity and relationships
- Find clarity during seasons of doubt, spiritual disconnection, or questioning
What It’s Not:
Christian counseling is not about imposing beliefs or persuading clients to adopt a particular worldview. Your values, questions, and boundaries are always honored. Faith is only integrated when it aligns with your goals and comfort level.

Couples Counseling
Every relationship faces highs and lows. I recognize that couples bring their own histories, wounds, and patterns into the relationship—and that these can create cracks in connection over time. My role is to support the relationship itself, not take sides. I serve as a guide to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and find your way back to each other with greater clarity and care.
I am Level 2 trained in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach that begins with a thorough assessment and uses interventions grounded in the Sound Relationship House Theory. This method helps couples:
- Reduce conflict and improve communication
- Deepen intimacy, respect, and affection
- Break through gridlock and emotional stagnancy
- Build empathy and shared understanding
Marathon Couples Therapy
For couples seeking focused, accelerated support, I offer Marathon Couples Therapy by request. This includes:
- Four intake sessions over 2–4 weeks
- The Gottman Relationship Checkup Assessment
- A weekend intensive:
Friday (9am–4pm), Saturday (9am–4pm), Sunday (9am–12pm) - Two 50-minute follow-up sessions
Sessions are typically held via telehealth, but in-person weekends may be arranged for an additional fee based on space availability. See the Fees & Insurance page for pricing details.
Premarital Counseling
Premarital counseling helps engaged or pre-engaged couples build a strong foundation for marriage. Together, we’ll explore communication styles, personality dynamics, and shared expectations around key topics like finances, roles, intimacy, parenting, in-laws, and more.
I use the Gottman Relationship Checkup Assessment to identify your strengths and growth areas as a couple. This isn’t a compatibility test—there’s no pass or fail. It simply guides our work and helps tailor the process to your unique relationship.
Premarital counseling typically includes eight 50-minute sessions, covering intake, assessment, and focused conversations based on your goals. Special rates are available—see the Fees & Insurance page for details.
EMDR Therapy
I’ve been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through an EMDRIA-approved program. EMDR is a well-researched, effective therapy for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic pain, and more.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR doesn’t require detailed discussion of distressing events or homework between sessions. Instead, it helps the brain resume its natural healing process by targeting unprocessed memories.
Clients move through eight structured phases, focusing on distressing memories and associated thoughts, emotions, and body sensations—then shifting toward more adaptive beliefs. EMDR can be used on its own or alongside other therapies, and often leads to meaningful results in fewer sessions.
